Joshua Caleb
Joshua is a Houston, Texas based artist. He was mentored by award winning children's book illustrator Jacqueline Rogers before attending Boston College, where he earned his undergraduate degree. Joshua has landed collaborative deals highlighted by Lamborghini Automobile Company, Coach New York, Monster Energy and Juneshine Beverage Co. His has also been awarded multiple solo exhibitions by galleries around the US. Joshua's work is internationally collected and a number of his works have been curated into permanent collections.
Artist statement: "My work is heavily influenced by New York graffiti writers and street artists. I’m drawn to the attitude and passion that encompasses it. My art focuses on the meaning of authenticity projected through the lens of race, gender and culture.
